Delete your CREEL account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes:

• your account and profile;
• every catch you have logged and its photos;
• your GPS location history;
• your direct messages;
• any tournament verification documents still on file.

Groups you own are transferred to another member or deleted. Some safety and audit records are retained with your identity removed, and any photo already included in a training export before deletion cannot be recalled (see the Privacy Policy).

Delete specific data without closing your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove individual data. In the CREEL app you can, at any time:

• delete a catch — My Profile → Your catches → open the catch → Delete catch. This permanently removes the catch, its photos and its location, along with its likes and comments;
• unshare a catch — Remove from feed / Edit sharing on any catch removes it from the public and group feeds while keeping it in your private log;
• delete your own comments from any post;
• unfollow or block other anglers from their profile.

To request deletion of specific data you can't remove in the app (for example your direct messages, or anything else), email steve@creel-app.com from the address on your account and tell us what you want deleted. We will confirm within 30 days. Full account deletion (below) removes everything.
